Doesn't like reverse!

Post by silverGPX »

This problem is getting worse, wont go into reverse, like if it doesnt go in I have to roll forward a little bit then it pops in but even this is starting to not work.

Not sure what it is, every other gear goes in fine, its had a fluid change with some nulon additive. Oh yeah its a Manual GPX.

Plus it cant be the selector bracket as i have drilled and bolted both.

It feels as if neutral isnt there, like i can push as hard as i want, and when it finally goes in you can hear it go in, sorta like a crunch sound.

Whilst stationairy, can you take change from 1st quickly into reverse easily?
No grinding in any gears, Girly noises from the gearbox area on take off?

Ever checked the slave or bled the system? Where is your pedal pickup point?

Yup. Could also be master too, I've had one of them go on me.

lol, on the slave, leaking fluid, on the master, fluid bypassing the piston & going back into the resevoir when the pedal is depressed.
