Error codes.

Post by spency »

Sup. Checked my engine codes this afternoon and then did a quick search of the forums which didn't help a whole heap. To the point, I received the engine codes 72 and 14. I found the fix for 14 via the search but I'm still stuck on 72. If anybody can post a link to a guide or can give me an outline of what the issue is, in a bit more detail, so I could give it to a mechanic and explain what the problem is.

All help is appreciated.

CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

14 Throttle position sensor
72 Ventilation control solenoid valve (TCL)

Sounds to me like you need to thoroughly clean your throttle body...

Thanks Simon, had a read of that, was asking how to fix the problem causing the code. As for cleaning the TB, take it out, unplug and soak or clean witha rag/blow out sh*t with a compressor

Yeah ^ Its usually crank case oil that gets in there, so a good soak in degreser, pull TPS & stepper off etc & then blow out all the little galleries & lines in on the top of the unit & rag clean the butterfly & surrounding area. See how you go.

Don't forget to disconnect your battery to clear the codes afterwards. See if they come back.

Sorry man misread your question!

make sure the black TCL pipes are actually connected to the TB, they are very easy to rip off when your playing around... should be 3 little black pipes 2 for abs, 1 for TCL with red, green and yellow dots on them respectively
