question about steering wheel
i was just wondering....is everyone's steering wheel really tight...or is it just mine???
mines a 97 gpvr and it has the tightest steering wheel. well compared to my 98 audi a4 and my parents 2005 corolla. its only gone 85000km....so maybe its still newish??

Lol, by tightest, id take the literal superlative - do you have a powersteering belt on there? 
I came from an 02 rolla sedan and the rolla was defs softer but i got used to the fto...

well....ive gotten use to it...but its just when i drive other cars....everything seems to be loose as hell...
tyre pressure, wheel alignment is fine. so yea pretty sure i have a powersteering belt so yea

You might just need to get used to it. Power steering technology now is different back in the FTO days...
Theres also cement products at bunnings that you could pick up, mix it in the blender with other things you like to drink as a shake, so to help you harden up & cope with the firmer steering and other things.

check power steering fluid is topped up and not burnt old and useless.
Meanwhile, out of all the cars I've owned and driven. the FTO is the second heaviest for steering feel.
And that's comparing it to my folks 66 Valiant that has no power steering...

you should be doing 200-300kg's without working up a sweet
