Not if they drove it like Ben does. Plus Bens is not a standard 6a13tt remember the ECU and thats just for starters. He has a whole thread of modifications if you would like to read it sometime. Here is the link for your convenience..

Hey Raf, if you do buy the O2 sensor and fitted it in, let me know your results - Im getting around 450k's MAX on the very last line and that is pushing it to 450. I feel like I should be getting more...

450k max on the last line? Still heaps left in the tank! Touch the top of the E and there is still 6 litres left in the tank. Why not reset your ODO when you fill up, drive till near empty and refill?

That's how i know I do 400~450, i reset the trip computer(not ODO, Oh man 8O )
And it's in the last line, and my E light doesn't come on - must be a blown bulb or something...

Oh, and i dont want to know how many liters are beyond the last line either  - I don't want to be tempted to push it knowing how far i COULD go one day..

Lol it sounds like my car, when the car shows 1/4 fuel left in the tank I know it still has 1/2 a tank.
I can run it well under the E line with out the light coming on.

The last time my car touched the last line and dropped a little below it on my petrol gauge was like 3 years ago, I always fill up when it goes under quarter tank just to make sure i'm not sucking in any gunk from the bottom of the tank (I know this doesn't happen until petrol is waaaay low, but I've already got the habit by now)

Yep my light still works well when I checked it last year any way
But I also do the same as above when it hits 1/4 I hit the pump.

Some times you just need to push the limits on the car to see if there is any thing wrong with it.

The light comes on below the last line! I've got my car down to judder on fumes stage. No sh*t if you are on the last line you still have 70-100kms left in it. So if you are getting 450kms to the last line, what are you complaining about???

I had no clue about this but a worn out fuel cap can cause you to use more fuel as well. An engine with a bad vacuum can be caused by a defective fuel cap.

Had a vacuum leak at a part of my engine, seal it, changed my fuel cap, oil cap and O-Rings on my dip stick, and my idle has never been better.

The least I've ever had from a tank was approx 490-510 (don't know cos I don't go low enough in petrol, guesstimating). Usually it's around 570/580.

So with 450 max from a fto tank, he's def got a legitimate reason to question it.
