Ok after speaing to Mr C this back on people refer here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=20479
will start a new list again and please no payments until we have correct pricing and numbers.
I have spoken to this company and they are very slow to respond to emails (being Japanaese dont think any of them speak english) But they do eventually get back, so with this one you will have to be patient.
Mr C still wants to do this so will leave any enquirys up to him so please direct any PM's to him not me!

Re: Re: EOI - C's Short Shifter Group Buy
I will be in Japan from 22nd November through to 5th December, so if I have enough definites, I might even be able to bring them back in my luggage to save on shipping costs.
Same as before, will be aiming for 10 for the decent discount, happy for people to express their interest, but please only put your name on the list only if you're IN

If we don't have the full 10, I will likely pick up the shifters while in Japan & bring back with me.. that is if people are willing to pay the full 'non-discounted' price but save on I'll work out the costs again & post the full landed cost details when I get a spare sec.

CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Just be careful if bringing these in and the total is over $AU1000 you might get hit for duty & GST. I'd be getting them shipped 4 at a time to be 100% safe.mr-charisma wrote:I will be in Japan from 22nd November through to 5th December, so if I have enough definites, I might even be able to bring them back in my luggage to save on shipping costs.

Will this be run by the club via the club account?

Re: EOI - C's Short Shifter Group Buy
Had a look at my shifter on the racecar tonight, compared it with the one on the halfcut I just bought (which appears stock). Mine is definitely a short shift but nothing like the C's that Ben posted in the previous thread;

Where the 3 bolts are (2 at the top, one at the bottom) mine has 1 inch spacers, lifting the whole assembly. Anyone seen one like this. Doesn't look anything like the RPW one either.
I measured (very roughly) the throw from 1st to 2nd. (removed the gear knob, and with a ruler next to the top of the now exposed gear stick, measured the distance from 1st to 2nd, like I said, pretty rough lol).
On the stock shifter it's about 11 to 12 cm.
On my short shifter it's about 7 to 8cm.
Can someone with a C's shifter measure this on theirs?
I'm undecided whether to go a C's or stick with what I have. It feels pretty good but I have missed third a couple of times on the track... Probably just my poor driving

Re: Re: EOI - C's Short Shifter Group Buy
well .. they've put up the price of the Shift kits..
1 = A$ 298.27 (each) Landed
3 = A$ 265.53 (each) Landed
5 = A$ 241.43 (each) Landed
10 A$ 208.74 (each) Landed
As I've said .. I will be in Japan From around the 20th onwards so if it's just going to be the 3 of them, they will be $220 each if I can pick them up while I'm over there..
TBH, Without 10 people interested I will be off the list for a full blown GB.. (as you can see by the prices)
I wouldn't want to be bringing back any more than 3 in luggage (absolute max 5) with the rest of the stuff I have to bring back as well..

Can someone who already has one of these measure the throw please, as per my post above. I'm kind of interested in getting one to compare...

I would definitely say -30% normal. I'll bring the ruler to my car tomorrow and see how far it throws. Or maybe a member might beat me to it.

I know its a bit late but oh well... only saw your post nowShane001 wrote:Can someone who already has one of these measure the throw please, as per my post above. I'm kind of interested in getting one to compare...

I just measured mine and i have the C's Short Shifter, the same one in the picture u posted.
From first to second without the gear knob its about 9cm roughly lol. I think your shift from 1st to 2nd is shorter because you have a 1 inch (25.4mm) spacer where as the C's Short Shifter has a 15mm spacer (like the one in the picture). So yours is raised up more resulting in a shorter shift
