FTO slow response during accelaration.. need help
hi guys.. the problem is why my fto takes 1+ seconds to accelarate(heavy accelaration), i mean when i pressed the pedal down half already, only after 1+ seconds the engine responds n takes effect (from starting, 1k rpm, normal mode) ..the accelaration is not instantaneous as i pressed the accelarator like it used to be..feels like am i losing compression on the engine? anyone please enlighten me? thanks. btw..its a 4-tip gpx

I would say yep
I would also say that it's a bitch of a job to change out, as it's at the back of the engine on the fire wall.
There is not a lot of room back there.
If that makes no change get the injectors cleaned.

If they are blocked up then yes it will help getting them done. They will cost apron $25 - $35 each to get done.

Just to add, maybe change your transmission fluid and filter as well if you haven't done so. It'll help with the gear changes.

Re: FTO slow response during accelaration.. need help
I think your issue is the engine characteristics of the FTO. There is no power down low which tends to feel like the engine isn't going anything at low rpm.

anyway..here's the pic, is it safe if i use ordinary fuel filter? because it cost $100 here for genuine fuel filter from my local mitsu agent
i didnt want to cut my old fuel filter just incase the new ones fail..but when i open it the fuel that comes out seems a little dark, no brown sludge though..
