Probably just shy of 20K excluding the purchase of the car
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Re: cost of keeping your pride and joy
I should add $4560 for the tyres I have used up on the track and street. So that puts it up over the $23500 and other bits like front bars side skirts bumps it up again another $1500 (with paint)aza013 wrote:3 and a 1/2 years money into it aprox $19000, But only about $4000 of my own money
total = $25000 + as I know there would be more

Re: cost of keeping your pride and joy
I've spent more on my 80s Magna wagon than the wifes FTO.
scary really.
FTO in total over the 3-4 yrs of ownership, we bought it, serviced it, and bought carbon fibre.
Total, about $20K
(Car was 10K- when facelift GPX were still a rare site)

Re: cost of keeping your pride and joy
Excluding purchase price, about $5k spent on parts and labour, on replacing worn engine parts and rear suspension. Would have been much more if the workshop hates me.
Edit: Also had to source majority of parts from UK and Singapore myself.

Re: cost of keeping your pride and joy
Makes me a little bit sick actually, the 80,000 odd grand blown on this car, the 100,000 odd grand blown on my mini (no pun) the 100,000 grand I've burnt by smoking for 15 years.... I should be a f**king land baron by now & own half of Sydney
If I had my time again, I'd do things a bit differently!
