Air Conditioner Problem

Post by renzkuken1 »

So i have a fantastic heater, but it's not summer and i am not getting any cold air out of the air conditioner. It's only actiing like a fan.
What can i do to rectify this problem and make it produce cold air? :)

Either it just needs regassing, or it has a leak. Get it regassed and get them to put a dye in it. If it does have a leak they will be able to see where it is leaking and fix it.
LED ALL the things.

Had the same problem with mine, could be a number of things. You can take it to any mechanic and they will do it. If it's simply re-gassing it will cost you around $50-$80. For mine there was a problem with the electrical switch where it wasn't kicking over to engage the gas, so an auto-electrician had to be called. All up it costed about $260 for the re-gassing and fix :)
