Brought a Mitsubishi FTO GPX off Ebay for $25

Post by brent88 »

......................Obviously its a model lol, its a fujimi and the instructions in one part say: "after taking the parts from the plastic bag tear up the plastic bag. little child may wear it over his head only to be suffocated" gotta love those translations haha. i also have to "aviod making a fire nearby" damn.

finished!!! takes ages (4 hours) if you wanna do it pretty good but its so fiddly (insted of stickers it comes with paper u glue on and some peices like the inserts for the hooded dials are about 1mm square.

painted it in the paint from my actual fto (two pac imperial red)and mixed some thinner in there and even clear coated it. painted the interior black and used texta in the outside trims and lights colours(indicators etc) lots of gluing required and over a hundred parts. cost was $25 and $15 postage from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1-24-FUJIMI-0337 ... 4153c59052

here are some pics of the final product(taken with a flash on a mobile phone camera.)

Is it just me or is that paint job hideous?
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

haha yeah i knew that the paint from my car would look shite but i wanted to see how close to the real thing (colour on my fto) i could get with improvised mixing with thinners, only 4 coats of paint and using a hairdryer insted of an oven on the clear coat lol
