Earthing Points.

Post by Shhtuart »

I just purchased a HKS earthing kit due to my current earth leads falling apart and possibly contributing to my slow startup.

Plus it looks uber cool 8)

Picked it up for $90 brand new.

Anyway, I know i can follow the current leads to their grounds but i was wondering if its safe to make more earth points?

Are there any specific spots that are a no go?

best places would be chasis , stut mounts , any thick metal

I read something today that said to link up a stronger earth from alternator to thermostat earthing point and the battery to improve general earthing, thought that was pretty nifty and made sense... can see the volt go up and down on my inside voltage gauge. So going to try that see if it stabalises it a bit, if it can really be affected.
