Hey in the past couple of weeks i noticed that when i turn on full lock i get a
slight noise comming from the power steering pump but when i turn on full lock fast i sometimes get a knocking sound ,mostly when i turn left.Is it the steering rack or driveshaftes? should i worry about it will it get worse or should i just leave it.Thanks

Re: power steering
Yeah when the car is stationary it does it the most i know that on full lock the slight noise is the ps pump working hard but even when i turn fast and hit full lock the knocking noise is pretty bad and this is all when stationary. Its due for a service in a couple of weeks so i will let my mechanic have a look and i hope these cv joints are cheap
Thanks for the help

Re: power steering
I dont think it's the joint, I reckon its just the end of the rack hitting whatever bit stops it from falling out of the end.
