DOn't forget that to those that have rear window antenna's that some tinting may hinder reception as well. Especially some reflective stuff because I guess it doesn't let the signal come through to the antenna on the glass right? I've heard of some owners of FTO's and skylines with window mounted antennas having this problem.

Your brother TV should runs on seprate antenna anyway, even that, it would still have bad reception unless you get one of those power amp antenna, they around $250 each from Pioneer. And i would advise you to get a pair, so that would give you 4 way reception.

The power antenna i'm talking about is only for TV, so i don't know about for radio, as its different type of connection. But i'm sure the installer can arrange one for you.

The cost of installation is depends on your installer, so i can't tell you, as i got mine done by my friend whos a pro audio/alarm installer.
