FTO AND THE COPS
folks juz here to share u an experience of mine happened few weeks ago... i installed a new front bar and side skirt on my FTO and that brought me quite into a trouble... yeah,, i was driving to hungry jacks at around 2am and i swear the god i did no sh*t and all of the sudden one police car approached me with the irritating flashing light n yeah i got pulled off the street.. they body checked me and alcohol testing me.. i told them i was juz come out to grab something to eat nothing big at all and u know what they said!!! POLICE: "i suggest u better go home".... i was like wtf..though.. eventually they let me go.. they thought i was some kind of 'redbag' driving a FTO... ! and what's wrong with driving a FTO!!!

Re: FTO AND THE COPS
mate, I think its just part of the fun of having a nice car.. I had a bored cop follow me halfway home through deserted backstreets couple days ago... ..and this was at 4pm.
I drove 5kms under the speed limit, so eventually they got bored and stopped following me.

Re: FTO AND THE COPS
I suppose sometimes they just have nothing better to do. Apprently I have complaints against my reg plate for doing lots of naughty things in my car (not an FTO, but is an import) but I rarely exceed by more than 5kms.
I got pulled over after having my car for less than 24 hours, and the cop was wanting to check it didn't have a turbo, and treated me like a criminal, asking me to hold my hands out the window and stuff on a major road, all because I said I would prefer to open the bonnet. Lets just say I rang my local and made a bit of stink out of it because I don't enjoy being treated like a criminal for driving and import.
