Guys, car is in for some rear suspension work.
Just realised that the wheel alignment place might not have my car's factory settings.
Does anyone know what they are?
My car: 95 auto GPX with factory stock 16 inch alloys
I found this, but am unsure if they are the standard settings:
Camber
Front 00' Rear -10'
Toe-in
Front 0mm Rear 3mm
Caster
Front
250'
Stock wheel alignment settings.

Re: Stock wheel alignment settings.
Why is the preffered rear toe +0.17
I also like to dial in at least half a degree toe in on the front. Helps prevent 'railroading' on rutted roads.

Re: Stock wheel alignment settings.
do you recommend 0.3 to 0.5 toe out on the rear ben? cos ive got mine aligned dead straight and sometimes on hardcornering it feels like the backs going to go before me

Absolutely not, toe out on the rear is a sure fire way to end up facing walls when you don't want to.
If its aligned straight & still happening, start looking at other things that could be worn, such as tyres or shocks.

hmm so whats it meant to be at? i havent had a wheel alignment since i got it lowered then a couple months later i got 4 new tyres and its still not aligned, so thats probably it hahah.
I just wanna know what to set. So u reckon fronts both -1 toe, rears 0 toe and -1 camber?

Re: Stock wheel alignment settings.
I reckon you're getting snap-back cause your fronts are so far out, you're getting understeer, then backing off quick & the ass is trying to catch you going round.
If you lower the car, it seriously fucks up the front alignment. It throws the front toe out to the shithouse.
For toe, my preffered setting in the rear is neutral (aka zero) and the fronts half a degree toe'ed in.
For camber, I try keep the whole car at about 1.5 degree neg - this is a personal setting & one you'll find & be comfortable over time. You have to play with settings vs spring / shock combos vs tyre choices to work out what suits your driving style. Keep in mind you have no say in what the front camber is unless you have pillow tops or camber pins.
For castor, I've use the Whiteline anti lift kit, which gives a manageable 3 or so degrees positive castor on the front.
On the rear, I've used offset rear trailing arm bushes to give about 1.5 degrees negative castor - purely in the interest of increasing the wheel base / weight balance.
