Hey all, purchased a prosport vacuum gauge on ebay, was just wondering which line I tap into to get it to work, it comes with vacuum pipe and a "T" join.
this is gonna come off as noob but i have it in my car and i dont understand what its for, like i get how it measures air going into the car, but is that what its for ?
Intake manifold vacuum pressure. Essentially nothing more than 'bling' on a non turbo car.
If you do want to hook it up thou, just run a tee off any line that goes into TB housing - ie the ones on the top of the housing if you don't have ABS.
LOL I know its for bling hahahahaha.
Oil pressure, temp and airfuel are coming soon though for under the stereo.
I just want people to go oooooh whats that, then ill just say its boost lol.

I had one in my car originally, was useful for the first few months whilst I got used to the best spot to change gears to maximise fuel economy but once I'd learnt that by sound and/or I was driving in a manner to which fuel economy was not a factor it was a useless gauge and I replaced it with an oil temperature guage. The vacuum gauge was only mildly more useful than a clock *looks around the room*.
