The Sump

Post by Sweep »

Just wondering if its fairly straight forward to remove the sump on the fto engine?
Is it just a case of un bolting it, or is it a bit more involved.
Thanks

Hey guys just took a look underneath the car and it looks like the starter motor & exaust would be in the way off dropping the sump.
Or will it just slideover the top of them?
Thanks

Exhaust definitely has to come off. The sump uses a silicone liquid gasket. Permiseal red is the best stuff to use.

The starter shouldnt need to come out.
