Dodgy ass Mivek lancer....

Post by Trish »

On my way to work today I noticed a blue Lancer GLXi with a Mivek sticker (just like our ones) on the side of it.

Is that for real??? Are there really Mivek lancers on the road???? Dang!

Spotted it on the way to work tomorrow? Gee that's quite a talent u have there.

I beliebe there are a couple of MIVEC lancers doing the rounds in Australia, but it's possible the one u saw just had a sticker and that's all. From memory, 1.6 litre MIVEC lancers were released in Japan.

lol

Yeah it's too hard to get things straight in the morning. I had a tea instead of the usual coffee this morning and that's enough to throw me off.

There is a dude on the forum with a blue Lancer with a GPX engine in it.

The car doesn't look done up and it's very quick. Can't remember which state he's from though. I'm sure someone will know.
From FTO to EVO......

the MIVEC engine in the Lancers are not the same as FTO's... they are 1.6l MIVECs (or 1.8, not sure)...

The JDM Mirage Cyborg had 1.6l mivec, but still are great little cars. I'd love to have one to rally in. And they can move there is one up here which is pretty impressive I reckon, a mivec FTO would still pants it though. :D

The Mivec Lancers are 1.6L DOHC, it had 130kw. Someone was selling one in the trading post about a year back. It was about the same time i brought my FTO. i considered it but i choose the FTOin the end. I test drove one in Hong Kong with my cousin. They are abit slower then the FTO's (0-100). But a fun car to drive.
