Transporting front bar in FTO?

Post by phunkydude »

Will a front bar fits into a FTO with the passenger seats down and the bar sits diagonally protrudes out the passenger window?

Anyone did it before? Or, will it end up hitting the car beside. :facepalm2:

Thanks.

It will fit inside the car without sticking out the car.

      Boot lid yes, bonnet no.
Pending on how far away your mate is take your bonnet off and drive over and pick the other one up.

oh btw when you transfer the bar, bring some sheets etc to put on the edges so the bumper doesnt rub and scratch the inside of your car.

For the side skirts just drop the pasanger seat down, slide skirts to the back then put the other end into the foot well.
It should not be any where near the windows.

Just for the record I could not fit my bozz speed front bar in my car without having it a 1/4 of the way out the passenger window.

Take the back seat off, recline the passenger seat, lay it down on that and have half of it sticking through the hole into the boot. :thumright:
