You went & undid all the othe bolts holding it on didn't you? Bolt it back on to the firewall & have another crack.

Also super helpful, using a proper 14mm brake line spanner to undo it - or just grind a section out of an exisitng 14mm ring spanner.

Not unless you're a magician.

I'm afraid you'll need to tighten the bracket.
When you put the new filter in, did you match the notches up with the bracket and filter, this is to ensure the unit will Not spin, so you can tighten it up.

Remember the force it took to undo the bolts? equal amount need to be put back into replacing it.

yea i got the outlet fixed up ( must be magic ) bro came over got him to tighten while i held the line in place ( holding the filter from spinning ) but now the inlet is leaking ( think from spinning the filter back , so just waiting for engine to cool down befor i attempt to try and tighten it again

My god, its a comedy of errors. Tip for the uneducated: when ever undoing either the top of bottom fuel lines, always make sure the filter is A. tightened within its bracket and B. bolted to the firewall.

alls well that ends well
got them both tightened up ( another tip when pulling car apart ) make sure u tighten the rear bolts up completely forgot went to drive and engine light came on cause there wasnt a grounding

but alls working now not leaking that i can see and every thing is tighten up so will soon see if i have any issues will get step dad to have a look and see if he thinks its all good

theres a noise coming from engine bay cant discribe it but its like wooshing sound but nothing is leaking so dont no and revs are up high
