Curt Dupriez wrote:Hi Boris,

Yep, we've been slack on the FTO front. Time to make amends. I have two requests.

One: Line me up with the details of a couple of hot FTOs. Esp the turbo one (cool!). We tend to shy away from cars recently featured in other magazines, but beyond that let me know the nicest modified ones around. We just need a name, mobile number (nice and secure) and maybe a pic and a little info so we can see what the car looks like. We'll endeavour to pick one or two for feature cars ASAP.

Two: I've got staffer Iain Kelly to add ftoaustralia.com to our searchengine department immediately. Please please please, let me know when you or any other state FTO club is having an event. We be keen to do something similar to the skylinesaustralia.com club show in the new issue, or the WRX and BMW club runs last issue, complete with short interviews with club members.
How does that sound? A good deal, I reckon. Hope to hear from you soon.

Cheers,

I though I would write to you because I think you really need to feature an FTO in your mag. People that love this car are feeling a bit left out. What’s wrong with our baby? Isn’t it fast enough? It may not be as fast or popular as a GTR, but It still should get some credit. I’m sure some of the people from www.ftoaustralia.com will be willing to showcase their cars.

Now, this is what I would really like...

Anyone that wants a chance for their fto to be featured in SPEED, I want you to e-mail me your name, contact number, info, and picture...

E-Mail: webmaster@boryadesign.net

After this, I will collate all the entries, and send them of to SPEED, who then will hopefully pick what car/cars they want to feature... let's hope...

I really would like to get a turbo car in aswell... PLEASE... FOR THE CLUB...

Seeing as I don't want to wait ages for people to get their stuff together, I'm going to put in a deadline for this...

Feedback most welcome :D

Deadline: END OF THE WEEK

If they come to the Melbourne cruise they can see a turbo as well as some other pretty cool FTOs, as well as some nice clean stock ones too.

Yeah, thanx.
I will let Curt know about it... See what he wants...

Steve, do we have a word document with all the upcoming events or something? Or is it all in the individual state threads?

Then they can see two turbos!

Mt Dandy will also make for some terrific photos, ideal for a magazine picture shoot!

Speed Mag are from the same bunch of people who also created MOTOR Mag 50yrs ago, so they are common as 7/11 stores.

Iain Kelly wrote: Hi Boris,

Glad you like the mag. We've included FTO Australia in our Search Engine club section up the back of the mag, please keep us informed of club activities as we love getting out on runs and going to club events. We're always on the lookout for cool cars (be they Mitsubishi, Porsche, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, BMW, Lancia, etc) and if there's any machines that you know of that fit the style of Speed, please let us know.

OK, guys. I have sent an e-mail to them asking where they want the car/cars to be located at, But still it would be nice to send pictures of a number of fto's round the country so they can choose i guess, even if they have small amount of mods. I'm awaiting a response regarding this.

Ethan, I wish i could of kept it for me and Jono :P
But i couldn't of, so yeah, this is on a multi state level i guess, that's why i'm getting people to send me stuff, so Speed can choose.

Also Mikey, I have passed on your details, and told them about the upcoming evens in Melbourne & Sydney that they can tag along to. Also Mikey, feel free to send them more info about the BBQ, as i didn't elaborate on it.

Thanks to all the people so far that are willing to use their cars.
I have every issue of Speed, so this is pretty exciting.
