Re: this looks interesting
If it's a VR or a GPX should not mater as it's at a good price and looks clean. Just comes down to what the engine is like, if it's good then it woul be a great bye for someone

Re: this looks interesting
I had another look over the car via the pics and it looks like it has done a lot more than 70000ks
The carpet under the break has a big hole in it, gear knob is warn like no tomorrow.
So I would say it's done well over 150000ks.

I just read this thread , that car is not going to be what it looks like in the pics. I would not be surprised if you find something badly wrong with it (either straight away or very soon). If it was everything it looks to be, they would be asking a couple of grand more

I have a theory for the worn gearknobs on some of these imports. Apart from the usual high mileage of course.
In Japan because they dont use their cars much, and the fact that they often drive small distances frequently (as opposed to longer distances where you keep it in one gear), combined with the fact that traffic is quite hectcic, I wouldnt be surprised that gearknobs are quite worn. In any case the usual checks should provide a good indication of true mileage. However if steering wheels and gearknobs are non standard its kind of hard to tell..
