hey guys just a question bout the intake
i own a gr and would like to upgrade it
i know the gr needs to keep the maf sensor so options get limited
wondering if any one knows of some after market designed for the gr

You can use any of them as long as you add the maf to it.

2 x 90 degree silicone bends, a 3" MAF adaptor plate & Bob's your uncle. Keep the MAF as far away from the filter as possible.

nice set up bennoz might do the same sorta set up altho a diff box cause my batterys to big

what about the small air inlet to the engine what did you do about that should i just throw on a tiny filter or connect a pipe in after the maf sensor
dose the engine take in air from here or is it used for some thing else cause swear one time i left it off and it threw out the engine what should i do
cause i dont want to throw out fuel to air ratios

i think the size of airbox does not matter too much.
what it matter the most are
1) pipings to have least bends
2) air filter with a good balance of flow and filtration
3) airbox sealed from hot air
4) insulate the pipe if its metal
