how I entertained myself tonight

Post by BorepYano »

I thought this was pretty good, well certainly brightened up my day.
(yes Stef, I did post this up on my FB as well, but I thought I'd share with everyone)

So today mum got this rather amusing not on her windscreen
"YOUR ILLEGALLY PARKED CALL THIS NUMBER TO RECIEVE FINE 0438713608 URGENTLY", scratched on a bit of paper torn from a notebook.

Mum showed me, I initially got kinda annoyed and torn it up (since mum's not the brightest, there's a 10% chance she might've fallen for that, and you do hear of ppl being dumb/trusting enough to fall for these things from time to time), almost threw it in the bin, then thought... nuh, this could be kind of fun actually.

so I sent an sms (from my spam phone number):
You were trying to issue parking fines when you don't have the authority, therefore illegally.
Please present yourself to *address* Handcuffed to receive corporal punishment. Urgently.
P.S. extra ...punishment will be included for not being able to read signs properly and for bad grammar.

Then I got a phone call from a private number, didn't answer it, but I did send this msg:
Please SMS back if you want to keep playing this game. I have a lot of free time (and free SMS credit) on my hands. :)

Yet to get a reply back from that, but someone else may or may not have started messing with her as well...

and after posting it up on my FB and having a good laugh.... here I am. I'm just telling you guys the story which has kept me amused for the evening, I am definitely not encouraging your guys to spam her or sign her up to any kind of sms ads or anything like that. (p.s. messing with people is more fun when you are not being rude and not being threatening)

CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

The same trick is used when they want to take your car.
They put a note on your car, but you don't see it untill you are in the car and the engine is running. You the get out of the car to get the note (engine still running)
They run up jump in the car and drive off. You ate left there with no car but a note in your hand :(

well at least my mother would be safe from that, she's so unobservant, something like that would most likely rot away due to the weather before she notices it lol (unfortunately she's your typical old Asian woman driver)

Any one else miss the point of she was ilegaly parked
Sounds like they were messing with u
trying to get u to call so they can abuse u for ilegaly parking
If u go to police with that number they can find out who it belongs to

I sorta called cops while phone was in pocket ( stupid safety if u press call call call it will call 000 even when locked ) and they turned up to my house asking mum if I was alright

Lol my old phone used to do that about
1-2 times a day for about 1-2 minutes each time. They never turned up to look for me but I quite often got calls from them asking if I was in an emergency. Had 10+ hours of emergency calls on that phone before I got a new one

Toyota Camary?

Only info I can find is that it's a Telstra number.

http://www.numbersdirectory.info/au/043 ... 0438713608

It doesn't look like they have tried it on too many people either, there are no results for that number on whocallsme.com

actually, this was in a falcon wagon, but she normally drives a camry lol

and as for numberdirectory.info ...it's not that accurate :( (all it's really telling you is that the number was originally allocated to testra, but it can be with any company by now, i just check mine and it says I'm with optus... and I wont touch optus with a 10 foot pole)
and whocallsme.com seems to not have any aus numbers what so ever :(
