i rekn! it was frustrating as hell, and i thought it might not be the stepper even if the symptoms showed so coz i read other threads on this and a stepper replacement did not fix their problem so i thought it could be the same with me, but so far so good, will see what happens.

Ok, so far, after a couple of days after the stepper replacement, things have been going well, FTO is happy, hell I'm happy orjizmic!!

Thanks so much to everyone who added their input on this, and I8A4RE, Bennoz, Aza, Vipfto. It was a small problem i know, it could have been worse, but the frustration involved, then the relief, in the end we're all left satisfied and smiling.

Ok, gholdwayne news update, installed the new stepper, so far so good, everything seems to be back to normal, will see what happens in about 2 days time.
