Re: Envy Imports Dyno Day
Yeah mine was leaning out badly, possibly due to blocked fuel filter we think. Only nursed it up to 205 killer wasps.

Re: Envy Imports Dyno Day
As per usual, I couldn't get the car home from a dyno day without a problem.
Got onto the freeway & steering went awry... pulled over & found the tie rod end nut had come loose on the driver side...
So, tightened it up... and threaded it
Car is sleeping the night in Crows Nest tonight. Will need to make an early morning dash back to it with a new nut.

Re: Envy Imports Dyno Day
Mixed emotions about mine.... Gave the GSR/EVO its first ever run.. Thought I would use it as a base map..
Will have to upload the pic, but is in my Facebook if ya'll want to check..
So, you could see by the air/fuel ratio that the tune in it is running really rich, and I left it on 10psi.. I was asked if I wanted them to adjust the boost (through the AVC-r) but didn't want to run any risks.. Will probably get them to do the tune when the new rocker cover is finished..
Ohh so yeah, end result was 142.3 killer wasps @ all four..

Lol funny how two highly tuned FTO's of the Aus community always has issues
lol, feel for ya guys. I hate chasing BS problems.
Craig.. holy hell! I could sleep on your fmic o.0 lol it's massive... The afr's on the map actually look to be getting into region you want though. I definitely wouldn't call it rich, perhaps it's the timing or a flow restriction/cams not dialed in yet etc.
Looked like a good day. Might've gone but i had a touch up tune done on the line and had my figure as a result.

well to try to fix my problems I will be changing out the stepper, new fuel pump and add a fuel reg, add new pipes and headers and do a retune. Then see how it go's.
If that has not fixed any thing then there will be no more mods done to this engine, money will be put away for a new engine and this will be turbo (not the 6A13 )

Craig's car is going to be a beast when the tune is done and sh*t it sounds F...ing hot when its opened right up

Spill the beanz! The cat wants out Aza!!
Might be worthwhile doing a comp/leakdown test, cooling system pressure test and flush and check the thermo. Some random things off the top of my head.. Check if the cat has collapsed as well if it's a ceramic cat ( the metal ones don't generally collapse).

Plus you've dropped hints on the forums a few times.

Glad I didn't take my car, I would have been lucky number 3 with the wagon to try and drive home and have the car fail.
I'll be getting mine tuned before I go joy riding or anything in it again, cars missing a beat every couple of revolutions now.

Nice kitty.

And here's the source of my problems.... She was gummed up good! Wasn't the km's the killed it, was the 2 years sitting idle.
I bent the old one with the amount of force I needed to crack the bolt off the top fuel outlet
