common socket sizes to work on FTO?

Just got a pay raise. planning to reward myself in some better tools!

Just wondering what are the common socket sizes used to work on FTO? 10mm, 14mm, etc. also i need a extension bar! some bolts are just impossible to break!

Not much you can't undo with a 10, 12, 14 & 17!

+1 I found a lot of the bolts used on the suspension system is 17mm

best to just get a full set IMO, 8mm-24mm

Go to an proper tool shop and get some GOOD tools.
been a thread before about this.
You get what you pay for.
And if you pay for sidcrome, kinchrome, protools, then you're garunteed decency.

Agreed, but what ever you buy make sure it has a LIFETIME WARRANTY

sure thing. the listing is from a trusted local retail shop, not far from where i live. And its Stanley with lifetime guarantee also. So it will tick those boxes. But im just going to ask if any of you sydney guys have preference to any hardware stores? good service, fantastic price!

correct. actually the ebay listing is from sydney tools as well, but at dulwich road branch!

ok, got a Stanley 68pcs socket/spenners set. lifetime warranty. Nice!

Having pulled quite a few apart now, you will need:

8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, and 22(I think)

This will cover everything stock on the car. The 22 is for the crown nut on the hubs. A breaker bar with an extension is very handy I find. Try and make sure the 17, 19 and 22 all fit the breaker bar and extension.
