it just flashed twice for about a few seconds and that was it. I drove it today and it didnt do it.

Know what could be causing this?

error codes only appear if the correct wires on the ECU are shorted.

According to the owners manual, if this light comes on while driving it means there is a problem with either the engine or the electrical system.

Given that it only flashed on a for a second it might just be a little glitch, but if it comes on again and stays on, get it checked out.

If you want more info, however, then follow the instructions on how to get your ECU to display if it has any errors.

yeah i'll check the error codes asap.

I was just thinking, it was raining really bad when the light flashed? Short somewhere?

Also maybe the oxygen sensor is on the way out, doesnt the light come on when the oxygen sensor is on the way out?

I had my orange light flash occasionally when I started up my car - happened for the last 2 months. But ever since I changed my car battery to a brand new one, last week, it no longer happens. :?
