Red warning light on the dash all of a sudden?

Hey,
started my car up today and I noticed that the red light won't go off after a few seconds when the car starts driving. Not sure what it is but the picture is attached:



Won't seem to go away at all today

Check your brake fluid level

Just checked all of my fluids. The brake fluid is about half way so that's alright.

But it looks like the oil has just crept below minimum, so I'll be filling that up later, hopefully fixes the problem. It's odd because usually the yellow oil light comes on.

I just topped up my brake fluid and oil, now the light seems to have gone. I thought that was the handbrake light though? Which doesn't make sense :\
