Well it looks like we'll be FTO owners for a long time... there's no way we can afford that Mazeratti now! We bought a Three story, double frontage Victoriaian Terrace in Fitzroy North. The interiors gorgeous.. an architectual masterpiece! The only down side is the parking.. or the complete lack of it! I'll be on the street... arg! Looks like I'll be spending a lot more time washing birdshit off the roof and listening out for the alarm on Friday nights! Here's some pic's...
WOW, bro you got some balls on ya! I doubt I would spend that much without getting a double garage at a minimum. Oh well different strokes for different folks. Good luck with move and I hope and the family have a ball down there.
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...
Thanks Simon.. I certainly would have liked a double garage! But I would have had to move to the burbs... a renovated house in Fitzroy North with a double garage would put me back around 2.5 Mil!! There's a bit of a different culture down there, esp. in the inner city because SOOO many people have to park on the street.. people are working on their porches on the footpath.. it's weird to see as a QLD'er because we seem to do everything in the back yard.

Thanks. I hear what you're saying about Redfern, I've got the same kind of reaction around Queenslanders.. weather boards, makes me think of Inala.. That's part of the reason we're moving to Melbourne, those Victorian houses remind me more of London.

Thanks! We feel really lucky to have it, it was feirce competition at the Auction.. it went 70 grand over the expected price. You got to love those realestate guys
Thanks, the interior was definitely the selling point! Those terrace houses can be so dull and pokey inside.
Sounds like a good thing that I don't know those suburbs! Assuming they're a bit pov?
