Any Suggestion Please
Ok ppl my GF & I are planning to fly up to ACT this wkend, so can someone suggest some place to hand around for 2days or a good place to stay???
I'm planning to stay in Novotel, as i'm a member, but there has to be a better/budget place to stay right???
May be someone can be our tour guide ehehhe

Hmm,
Id stick around the civic Manuka area , cafe's and shops..
If Money wasnt a problem id stay at the Hyatt.. ooo ,. haha

Theyre pretty good. i think 145 a night 4.5 star

I should pay around $70 bucks a night with Novotel. I use to travel a lot, so i though there maybe some $50 3 star one around the area. Don't need any services really, just TV,bed & shower ehhehee

I agree with Jono.
If your not going to have a car, then best to stick to the "City", if you can call it that. Novotel is good cos I think it's pretty much in the center, from which you can walk to the "exciting" bits of Canberra... whoo hoo...
Depends what you wanna do in Canberra, dine, outdoor stuff... etc...
