can i add to the DIY to remember to release the handbrake again after you take the wheel off

Does anyone have aratle gun i can borrow or some1 willing to help me do it? I was at the final step and couldnt go further because of that damn bolt. I used a longer bar, wd40, a jack to push the bar and a shitload of muscle power and it didnt work :x so close yet so far

i did... On both sides to make sure i wasnt accidentaly tightening instead of loosening...

And since every other bolt came off counter clockwise i assumed the same.

The bearing and the hub itself doesnt look rusted or old though from what i could see... Maybe the bearing just needs to be regreased

find the longest bar you can find and yank that sucker. The longer the lever the better the mechanical advantage :D

Also use a jack, works a treat

Another technique which I 'dont recommend' is to go for a drive with the handbrake on.

Get it back home quick & get it up on the jack & have another shot at it while there's plenty of heat in it.

As Im assuming you dont have an oxy torch setup lying about...

Fixed the main post up.

Got 2 bearings in the mail today. The ebay ones.

They're actually Mitsubishi units, got the part number & everything on them.
