150k service?

Post by -Nighthawk- »

Hey,
my car is just approaching the 150k mark and I was wondering if there should be a service done like the 100k and 200k service. Or should I just book it in for a standard service?
cheers

-coolant
-g/box fluid and filter if tip
-fuel filter
-plug leads
-brake fluid

except for oil only replace everything else if you havent done so recently

as they are most likely due

they dont last forever platinum/iridium plugs 80-100000kms normal plugs 20k and leads dont last forever either

so even if you have platinum and were changed @80km do the math they will be due ;)

-air filter $30+ (depends on brand/style)
-spark plugs $20 ea for iridium x6
-coolant $10-20
-g/box fluid and filter if tip $25 filter and fluid prob around $30
-fuel filter $20
-plug leads depends on which ones you want use up to $120
-brake fluid $10-15 dollars

hope that helps

You may also want to consider an inlet manifold gasket if your changing your plugs/leads.

Can someone please post the exact parts I might need? I don't want to walk into Autobarn / Supercheap and go can I please have plug leads without knowing what size / specification etc.

(yes I am an amateur at mechanics now I know what it feels like when people ask me for computer advice lol)
