im so bloody pissed off right now, i can hardly maintain myself. i might just go kill them all...
well its been over a month without my fto and i feel utterly useless.
initial problems was that my 5th gear didnt work and there was bubbling on the roof, but then i burnt my clutch so it had to go into the shop, since i bought it from a dealership, under warranty i brought it back to them.
waited a week to get the confirmation from my parents to get it repaired, and they didnt start working/ ordering the parts til another week.
the main guy i deal with went on holidays so my car was held up abit, and he said it'll be done by last friday, if not monday/tuesday this week. i call up on monday to be told it'll be done by today for some reason. and i call in today but he said it'll be done by monday. without even the roof rust fixed.
sigh and now its been over a month, when i've only owned the car since march. i hate this dealership so much, wish i never did business with them. thats my venting for now... thanks if u've bothered reading.

but mines slown down a lot as i've removed about 97% of the grim glue and brushed some anti rust coating.. taking the sunroof by yourself is damn hard! had to use all my limbs to lift it up and bolt it back. but i think im happy i did.

Go down there and have a chat to phill and tell him your not happy about what is going on.
And keep on at them every day, once the work is done find another mechanic and go to them for any work needed to be done. Give EL the flick.

well the problem seems like the guy i deal with 'seems' to be doing me favors and when i did speak to phil once he didnt know bout it so he cant help sh*t.
afraid of going to diff mechanic cause of the warranty, but then again it seems like it hardly covers sh*t.
i jus happened to feel my car wasnt going as good as it was so i drove it out to them only to have the clutch die on me a block away from the dealership so i guess i didnt have much choice cause we pushed it the rest of the way there.
gonna have to go there to pick up my car, hopefully monday as he said, and pay for the new clutch and crap

Jet get your solicitor to send a letter of demand with action from Dept of Fair Trading.

Povo workshops like that always sh*t bricks when Fair Trading get involved. The fines they can give out would sink the business.

Yeah it takes ages when they have to order parts. I'm guessin they order the minimal parts then if its still no good order some more.... its as good as if you were doin it yourself sometimes.

You should have researched Edward Less a little more. They don't have a great reputation. We all steer clear of there. Just keep nagging them and make your self a pain in their asses. No one likes a pain in the ass. they will soon give you what you want.

looking at ftos, cheapest for kms and i only came up with edward lees.
as all dealers are they seemed nice, sigh.
shouldn't have gotten as my first car maybe.
i'll have it back tmr hopefully.

I drive past there at least once a week and they do appear to have a nice selection. If they don't give you what you want I'd ask them how much a front windscreen is to replace on a TME EVO 6, an RX7, a 200 Silvia, and EVO 8MR etc and just name all the other cars on their forecourt. I'm sure they will soon work out that it's cheaper to fix your car.

but mate, i feel sorry for you.
My very 1st ride, bought from a dealer and head gasket blown after 2months. Learnt from mistakes along the way. But yours is a different situation.
