First job was to find the source of a rattle from the back which turned out to be the hooks for the back seat brackets rattling up against each other...which was weird as I always thought they fitted snugly together. Anyway nothing a bit of sticky tape around the metal hooks could't fix

Next was the rattling window guides which ended up giving me more questions than fixes.
I used the guide on the complete fto site.

1) My door does not look like the door in the pics. There is metal above and to the left of the speaker slots so that is not covered in weathersheid. Weird, but whatever.
2) My window guide does not seem to move in the angular direction the picture seems to indicate. Instead it seems to move directly up and down the door on the far left hand side about 15cm to the left of the speaker hole. Still weird, but whatever.
3) I figured that there was no need to remove the door panel as the only way I can possibly access the damn window guide is through the speaker hole anyway. Lowered the window and 10mm ratchet later I was just able to awkwardly remove the window guide, give it a few taps on the head with a hammer and fit back in beautifully. No movement whatsoever.
Took the car for a drive and there is still a damn rattle there. Took everything apart and investigated more and the rattle is coming from the right hand side of the door somewhere, only problem is I can't see or access half the stuff over there. Anyone run into this before, or know what might be the culprit. Geez I hate rattles.
