brakes done so i can at least top up the oil and drive her to a mechanics saving me a tow truck ride.

i'm going to order rotors and pads only, and get some brake fluid.

other thangs that i'd like to get done is change all the fluids in the car if possible, oil, gearbox, power steering, coolant, the lot.

Yes!

oil flush
radiator flush
engine oil
trans oil
radiator coolant
high temp silicon
radiator cap
brake fluid dot 4

all I can think of that we discussed before.

So, hang on, what is your car doing at the brake place if you dont have the parts???
or are you getting the parts through them?

its still in the driveway atm. hasn't moved.

i've re-thought, i'll go get my brake parts off your mate, and bring them back here and do em at home.

i was going to take the car to the brake place to get the rotor and caliper upgrade, but i'm not to sure on it now, i ahve to give your mate another call, or converse via email. if i could get brakes and all that done in a day that would be amazing.

Easy.

if aza has your other rear caliper, then you have 2 good calipers we can use.
new rotors and pads are a synch.
Easily have the brakes done in a day, and I guarantee, even do a full engine service!

meanwhile, it might be worth changing your spark plugs.... doubt anyone will want to remove your intake mani, maybe just do the front 3... they wear faster anyway.

after we do your brakes, just get your whole car re-aligned.

saturday is all good for me. just ordered my brakes. or 2 piston calipers, Intima SR6300 pads front, RDA non slotted front and rear, Lucas pads rear.

i'll ring up mitsubishi with the part list and see what they have in regards to hoses. any reccomended spark plugs?

all the other fluids i'll go to supercheap auto for them.
how much of each do i need to buy, and what brand;

- engine oil
- radiator coolant
- brake fluid
- power steering fluid
- transmission fluid

anything else i need? get me a list, and i'l'l go shopping on wednesday :)

any reccomended spark plugs? Dunno. NGK BPR6E? (havent serviced a non turbo car in a while)

engine oil flush 1 bottle of this
2 engine oil filters Ryco Z411
- radiator coolant < 5L concentrate (anti boil)
radiator flush, 1 bottle of this
- brake fluid, 1 bottle, dont think they come in more than 800ml?, go motul dot 4

twin piston calipers. the ones on the gpx, apparently they're a straight swap from the single piston gr brakes

they're the same. the only thing you have to do is bend the front brake sheilds out of the way coz of the increase in rotor size, thats about it

That's the old part number

replacement number is MD360935
if your doing a comparison check against ryco or someone else, then either of those numbers will suffice

We can go the the auto shop to get most of the stuff on Saturday if that helps.
Oh and I think 20w50 may be a little to thick, I would go 10w40.
