As for Ben that would be a sh*t load of beer for you to do the job
We're into pallet & keg territory here

I have a feeling that its my lifters making my nosie and not so much tappets (probably tappets too but ontop of that, lifters :P)
I've heard your motor (before it was your motor) and yeah, its tappets. Fortunately for you, its a GR donk, so its got the hydraulic tappets - aka drop in & forget.
At the moment, Meek Automotive have a cracking deal on the hydraulics here: http://www.meek.com.au/index.php?act=vi ... ductId=112

I'd do a full set of 24 swapped out for 2 cases of beer & a bottle of Beam.

If you want a shot at doing it yourself, check the DIY: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=7258
Does this include traveling to Brisbane? Dammit.

You know the rules!

Standard alcohol fees + coke & hookers = interstate Bennoz fees!

Then again, after a bag of coke, I'd be like pushing rope, so could go on for hours without result

That are open Saturdays.
Have you checked around the sump plug and oil filter?
Oil leaks can be a bitch to find some times, you may have had more than one.

Just see what they say when you go back down.
Let me know when you go and I will try to get down there.

For 2k any reasonable mechanic should have been able to fix a fkn leak. Take it back man, dont be mad yet but be very firm and see what they say.

cause they did a diagnose on the leak, washed it down an run the car etc etc to find the leak, they changed the engine oil and filter again, so i doubt its the oil filter, and its leaking the same place.

Week days are up in the air for me as I never know what time I will finish work.
I will check in tomorrow to see if they are open and let you know. They may have just been closed for the one weekend.

Ok just got back from pulse racing, lift the car up, checked it, he said its probably the head gasket now, and he showed me, looks like theres oil around the heads, T.T seriously, if it was really the head, as if they couldnt see it from the start? it wouldnt be a small leak if its from the head gasket rite?
