whew.... just got back from a 12 hr workday and I MUST express how much I loved this cruise.

The highlights for me were:

1) meeting the people
2) the windy road on the way to Mallacoota (now I know what understeer feels like)
3) the great party on sat night (excluding stepping into bits of Milat's puke  )
4) the photoshoot by the beach

I congratulate all the organisers of this great cruise once again - you've done a great job.

PS: I think Robb should change his avatar to Does not play well with cook-a-burras

Problem being that I didn't actually check with most people what their nickname on the forum is! So I am not really sure exactly who was there and who wasn't. I didn't really matter at the time.

Man, that was such a great trip!

Sounds like you peeps had a blast - however, since I had plans for the coming long weekend, I had to miss out on what sounds like a riot (there is no way I would do getaways on consecutive weekends). Have you guys considered doing another one perhaps for the October long weekend? Perhaps if we planned in advance we can actually get something happening? I'm sure the participation rate would be higher too since work on Monday would not be an issue..... just a thought.

we are planning sometime later this year to do an event up the coast with our queensland mates, probably a 3 day event as well (i.e. monday off)

and we are planning an event for early next year that will be to tasmania... but more information on this later

I swap with u anytime Steve, i got the bottom half of the penthouse, & all i get is to hear the "doff" music all night/morning. For those who haven't been there, my room actually have a glass door connected to the "party lounge"

And if u think the sun is bad at the top half of the penthouse, try 5m of full floor to ceiling windows facing east. Well thats how i got all those early sunrise shot, cause theres noway you could sleep.

Bascially i was blind & deaf by Sunday morning ahhaahahaaa 8O

But hey i still had mega fun.

I'm not complaining about the lack of notice about the Mallacoota trip, but rather that if we did want to get something organised for the next long weekend, perhaps expressions of interest should be shown?

I actually mentioned to Steve that may be we should get UAS to modify our cars and make them amphibius (Spelling?).... That way we can just sail them there....

Do you think they would let FTO's into the Sydney to Hobart yacht race...

Hehehe I wasn't sure if anyone remembered the 'Shocker'... Being drunk I'm not sure who I was doing it too...
