LED lighting
has anyone used this site before
http://www.brightlightautoparts.com/LED ... lobes.html
They are based in Ferntree Gully, have just emialed them to find out wether i can pick up LED's from them instead of waiting for postage.
By the look of the website, i should be buying these part numbers for the dashboard lights.
T105LED2P (3packs) DIALS
T535MD2P (3packs) CLIM CONTROL
39F8LED1P (2 packs) or 39125MD1P (for festoon lights)
T10LED12P (2 packs) CLIM CONTROL/VOLTMETER
T104LED2P (2 packs) wanted these as they are a better profile than the ones above.
Is anyone else interested in some of these?

Heya mate. I have a friend at work who does the dashes for people and he uses these LED's from BrightLights. So should be good. Cheers

but from what i did see, the products did look interesting, I think i'll have a better look once i've found my sunnies.

Re: LED lighting
i ordered my lights, felt like my eyes were melting as i did so. Kept going back to the main page too.
Cost me $98 and should do all the main dash and everything else. Ill take some photos of me doing it and the finished product on saturday.

Re: LED lighting
I'd be very interested in the outcome of the LEDs in the dash for behind the dials. Mine is a really dull yellow atm. Keep us posted!

Re: LED lighting
The shift lights on the dash, are they green bulbs or just a tinted dial.

Re: LED lighting
Changed them all, im particularly proud of the aircon, took the 4xsmd lights and feed them through the air con bulb holes, glued them in flush and soldered them to the connections.
So they are sat as far back as possible, little bit of spotting, but in bright light its still very visible.
Ill take some photos on saturday when i do my other work and upload them, im now thinking of drilling a small hole in the plastic behing the needles and wiring a red led to them to make the needles glow very bright.
