CF Stereo Surround - best way to attach gear boot?

Post by peterm3150 »

The title says it all. Just bought a carbon fibre stereo surround however it doesn't have the original clips or the ring to tuck the boot into.

How does everyone attach theirs?

Thanks.

right now im just using double side tapes, but it doesnt hold long due to hot weather it lose the stickyness, i know using those sikaflex glue gun is good and will hold, but it will be a big hassle if u want to go behind the headunit, therefore i havent used sikaflex yet :)

Sorry my mistake, I didn't quite explain it right. I'm asking how to attach the leather gear boot to the CF stereo surround.

Thanks.
