:D I'm glad everyone enjoyed it :D After many months of planning (we started this in Feb) it was great that it all came together even if we did maybe have TOOOOO many bacon & eggs :P It was certainly a memorable weekend - my highlights would be

1/ the PRE-shopping trip for breakfast!!! 8 kilos of bacon and 12 dozen eggs.... 8O
2/ trying to remember the eggs were in my boot for the last 30kms of very windy roads in
3/ Gav & I missing the turn off for the last 30kms... :P
4/ Christine and I coming 2nd in the NAV event (thanks must go to the 2 local lads who gave us a tip.... )
5/ Managing to completely avoid Sunday breakfast (after maybe drinking just a tad - HEAP - too much on Sat night) 8)
6/ Meeting everyone :D We have a bunch of fantastic people in this club!!!

Thanks everyone for making the trek to Mallacoota and sharing with us the official launch of the club - hopefully we'll see you all at the next multi-state event.

Cheers
Tanya

btw - Steve - that was Trish singing - couldn;t you tell?? She was actually in tune  I had the 3 cd set of Queen blaring in the car :P

On saturday night during my drunken state, I think I may have stumbled into a puddle of a different kind.:twisted:

(hic....) OMG, what a weekend!! :?

first and foremost i want to thank (from the bottom of my heart) the rest of the committee crew (Steve, Tanya, Rob C and Robb P) for putting together one helluva party... one which i'm sure you all will agree that it will not be forgotten for quite some time, i might add LoL...

it was awesome to finally meet some of the members from NSW and ACT and put some faces to names (and nicks)... Glad to see everybody got along so well with one another and everyone enjoyed themselves so much (even more so with some, at my expense  hic....)

highlights of the weekend for me include:

1. getting absolutely wasted at the Saturday night party... 'nuff said (hic....). *looks at Milad*
2. the navigational test which was sorta *cough* dodgy *cough* :P but it was fun nevertheless... ;)
3. the exciting drive through twisties along the way
4. the attention from the country bumpkins along our journey (incl the pups we nearly 'collected' during our navigation event :D)
5. spending the weekend with a bunch of fantastic members - YOU GUYS ROCCCKKK!! (hic...)

and finally, Ethan you are a true legend mate... seriously folks you have a lot to learn from this champ about mateship (hic...) - i am forever indebted to you matey. You look after me, I'll look after you! ;) I love you maannngg!! (hic...) :D

ROFL...

http://public.fotki.com/NimZ/car_cruise ... _fto_offi/

Our highlights would be:
1) my friend chucking up from car sickness
2) trying to catch up with certain ppl going a 'little' bit faster then the speed limit and Ethan tailgating up my ass :D
3) the drunken behaviour of some ppl on saturday night, tsk tsk!!
4) the photoshoot of all the cars and the looks on ppls faces as we drove around Mallacoota
5) and soooo much more

Just wanted to say a huuuuuugggeee thanks to you guys for an amazing weekend!!!

I had the best time. It was fab meeting all the Melbourne crew and some of the sydney gang I havent been lucky enough to meet before and of course getting to know all my Sydney buddies better :)

Highlights from the weekend:

1. Managing to not get sick the whole way to Mallacoota only to throw up after the strategically planned, slightly dodgy navigation game - thanks Steve and Rob - he he!!

2. Learning that some people just aint 'that easy'.... LoL!!!

3. Seeing 'true friendship' via the unplugging of sinks....

and sooooo much more!!!!

All in all, just had an amazing weekend and am so happy I got to meet you all and spend time getting to know and hang out with you in such a gorgeous place!!

Thanks again to the organisers and congrats on your success!!!!

Can't wait for next year :)

So would I be correct in guessing that the person giving the "shocker" is Robb? ...and who is he giving it to, the person taking the picture or the girl sitting next to him? Hard to tell from those eyes :P

I'm guessing the photographer didn't notice this or doesn't know what the "shocker" is.
