how do i get rid of these????

they are seriously giving me the sh*ts so badly lately

i use google chrome btw

Use Firefox with Adblock +

or just go into settings and block pop ups firefox is sh*t we have it on the other computer i dont like it

go start menu
right click on the internet the big blue e
then left click internet properties
then left click privacy
then left click turn on pop-up blocker
done

then all pop ups will be blocked if you click some thing and it dosent open u will see a drop down box under the internet tabs ( below fav's , print , page. tools ect )
u will need to right click and click temp allow or i think you can hold shift and then click the link and it will open

theyre not popups they are like the ads on websites

is it only possible in firefox?

or can i do it in google chrome as well?

websites i get tabs from have them so its unavoidable

yea in advanced settings you can disable sounds on webpages but dont no if that will disable all sounds such as youtube or not but you could try

same as above but click advanced tab then scrol down to muitimedia

but can i block it on google chrome?


they arent popups they are ads on the site, so popup blocker doesnt work

cant figure out a way to mute websites on google chrome either?

Learn how to play the guitar properly then you won't need to go to tab sites.

Edit your host file so that all ad server websites are forwarded to 127.0.0.1

i use google chrome and love its clean simple interface.

i just keep my computer on mute until theres something i want to listen to.
