If I was to go out and buy a phone now... It would be using IPv4 and I can access the net .. I would be on say a 2 year contract, before I could change phones...
Now, in 12 months, we run out of addresses... And changes are made so that IPv4 will be de-active, and the way rolling forward will be IPv6 ... New websites will be set up to only accept IP addresses that are through the IPv6 format, and thus my phone (still in contract) will have reduced visibility on the net... But, IPv6 will be able to see content/sites that were programmed to work with the IPv4 format ...
So, I will then probably have to pay someone, or refresh the software on my phone, to be able to see all content on the web ???
I just had to add it ......
