To Dynamat or not to Dyanamat?

As some people might know .. I dynamatted most of my other old car & soundproofed it quite a bit

The improvement it made on the road noise reduced it to next to nothing & made it almost like driving a luxury car.. while still letting through the screams of the Mivec in to the cabin..

What I'm on the fence about is, do I do the same to the new car?

I realise that I'm not going to be able to get rid of all the rattles, creaks and groans that these cars have, (although I am pretty close with the old car) but it helps a lot.

I am planning to track my car a fair bit and take her to the drags, but probably nothing serious like competition racing (unless I get bitten by the bug - who knows) So how much will the added weight actually affect my times around & down the track? Should be around 40-60kg for 3-4 boxes..

Then again .. I don't know if i'd even care about losing a few HP.. already have as much power as I think I'll ever need .. extra weight might even help with traction eh?

Kind've just thinking out loud, but would appreciate any honest feedback, negative / positive I don't mind
