fuel pump?

Post by Tippin »

been having a problem recently where when i'm low on fuel the car will hesitate when i put my foot down, not letting me rev out through the range smoothly and starts jerking.

Only happens when im low on fuel (id say around 1/4 full), any ideas??? my own guess would have to be the pump

That definitely sounds like a fuel filter, that jerkiness in driving is something I experienced on a previous car and happened up until the point the car died, turned out to be fuel filter as well.
