Winding up your kids

Margaret and I were having our usual Sunday discussion over absolutely nothing because we were bored, with Jack, my 12 year old sitting on the couch with us.

"We're bored, what do you think we should do?" He was asked and his reply was innocent and brilliant!

"Poker"

My reply of "Well a kiss and make up maybe but I wouldn't go that far" took about a second to register with him before he disappeared screaming "Cards, cards, eugh!! your disgusting"

Man back in the day a poke meant a finger to the upper arm with a cheesy face... I would have said ok where? in the eye up the nose...?
