Ok, as some of you probably have already read, I am about to have a new suspension set-up done ,
What I have found out is unless I am going to custom make the springs, I can only get lowered
springs, either lovells or kings. I didn't really want to lower it as she already scraps abit now.
Question is, the size of the rims that are on her already rubs on full lock or when hitting any
inperfections on road surface, the plasic covers that are inside the rim, can I remove those and leave
them off ???
And if I do, will it expose the engine (starter motor etc) to more trouble down the track due to water splashing up etc ???
Cut away/Remove ????

Yes, you can remove them. A number of members run without them. Having said that, yes, you will expose your engine to flicked up stones etc. As to how great a risk of damage thatcauses, im not sure.

I havnt had the liners in for two years and I've had no trouble... Thebelts on the left side of the engine are not at risk and the washerbottle and stock airpipe preety much block the rocks anyway
