FTO find on carsales

Post by xj265 »

I was going over FTO's on carsales and came across this one:

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/pri ... 41900EC875

Its in Vic, 98 model, 5 speed auto (even though it says 4 spd, pics say otherwise) and is a GPvR but if you look closely on the boot, from what I can make out is says 'Aero GP,! An Aero GPvR for just under 11 grand!

So if theres anyone in VIC looking for an FTO or anyone looking interstate for that matter, I would definitely recommend you have a look at this

I don't know who the owner is and I am not advertising on their behalf or anything, I just think for 11 grand that is a great buy for an Aero GPvR

Aeros are rare. I have one and I know of one other in Aus. Im sure there are a couple more, but not common at all. A year back, the aeros were going for 5K more than a version R in Japan. Not sure now. If this is in good condition (which it looks to be), then its a very good price.

What different features came on the aero, aside from the fog lights?

Im pretty sure there is a thread on that somewhere, but basically, the Aero is a fully optioned Version R.

As far as I was aware, the Version R did not come from the factory with fog lights, however the Aero edition did. Could be wrong.

Nup, most of them had the foglights. Problem is, during compliance they generally get removed and tossed (what a waste)

I was lucky. They threw mine in the boot. But they chucked out the brackets... :x
