FTO feels like a new car. It handled really well today, but the brakes let me down too early on in the fun stuff. I'm still nervous about pushing harder due to having crappy suspension for so long. I've taken a few corners I know well it's amazing how much quicker it can go through them now. Well worth the money. Looking forward to the brake upgrade next...

ben!! what was the suspension shop name of that friend of yours whome i got a pretty good quote on for the lovell springs + kyb shocks ? Iv been searching for that post for 3 days now... couldnt find it at all... im getting my suspensions done around mid march thats why, cheers

Here's a neat upgrade to stiffen the rear of your FTO up :)

Use the EVO I,II or III rear trailing arms. The Evo versions are almost identical to ours, however they have a plate welded over the base of the arm to stop it flexing.

They are a direct replacement for GPX & GPvR. You will also fit the GR, however, you will need to either change to Mitsubishi GTO droplinks, or change to a GPX / GPvR swaybar. Personally I'd go for the GPX/GPvR swaybar as its thicker than the standard GR unit. I've already upgraded my GR swaybar to a thicker whiteline unit, so will need the GTO droplinks.

The part numbers are LH - MR197609, RH - MR197610

hey there ben, after a little incident my drivers side rear wheel has more positive camber than the other side. what wouldve bent? the trailing arm? my mechanic tried fiddling around to bring it back like the other side but the adjustments didnt do much. what does it sound like i have to replace?

bent strut, one of the rear arms usually the cause of that

Just got a price on these they are at this time $300 + postage or free pickup.
I will see if I can get a better price for a GB.
BUT the big thing is to see if they fit and work on the FTO's befor any one gets them :roll:
