Money can't buy happiness, but it can help you look for it quicker, in a convertible.

I'd bet my left testicle they WONT be legal. In qld no modification to headlights are allowed AT ALL. Nothing, zilch, zero, nadda.

In saying that I have only heard of one person getting done for it. But he was previuoly warned and then ignored it.
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

dont take my word for it....but i think there only legal if there a factory made headlight, like the ones on audi's, bema, etc...

i have halos on my Ford Fiesta as u can see as my DP<<<<, but mine are aftermarket factory-made headlights,

unlike the one a few guys put on there ftos themselves at a DIY day....i think they'd be illegal for sure

Any angel eyes that are not an oem part for that model, can be classified as 'illegal' and can be defected. But its rarely policed and not something police notice, especially if they remain off most of the time.

I believe White angel Eyes are legal (in QLD), but certainly any other colour is not.

yeh ok but thats in qld, in nsw (maybe vic) i think the law is a little more lenient on the angel eyes, etc..

cause i've been leaving my halos on driving around for work every night, and i have driven past cops bout 5-6 times and nothing happened, i got pulled over for a random breath test, and the coppa checked the car for p plates and let me go

so either my first comment was right or the people who have been defected for there halos have been pulled over by some SCUM ASS cops

Oh nah thats same here, a cop won't do anything about it but technically its against the law, but especially for white ones as if a cop will care, unless he's like on a uber ragefit.

They certainly can fine you if they want to, it may be unlikely but if their in a bad enough mood then they'll do it ;)

so i say do it, buy them, fit em and wateva and as soon as u get pulled over, turn them off

if a cop asks why u have halos in your headlight, just say they were there when u bought the car and there no later in use

if they notice them they'll tell you to remove them.. if you get again & haven't taken them off then I wouldn't want to be in your shoes..

the halo / angel eye rings look tacky anyways .. better to get a BMW light assy & mod your lights properly if that's the look you want..

You'd be unlucky to get in trouble i think. First they'd need extensive model knowledge inorder to notice/argue that their not standard. Then they'd need to actually find out. Not saying they wouldn't do it, but its unlikely. On the other hand, if your rude with them, then they'll through the book at you and the headlight fine will probably be the last of your worries.

Remember these are the same cops where talking about that have pulled over several members here and damanded where the turbo is ;)

I had greens ones in for 9 months, drove from melbourne to Hervey bay with them on when I got the car and everywhere I drove they were on, had driven past plenty of cops and had a number of RBTs and nothing was ever mentioned.
Then one day, some young jerk pulled me over and told me they were a defect and I would be getting fined and points, I came back with "they arent and emergency colour and they arent strobing, therefore are not illegal" .... the wanker still fined me

I guess its just the mentallity of whoever pulls you over, I personally love them and cant wait to put the swiitch back in :P
