wow... i think i'm the last to reply :P

anyway, thanks are definitely in order, so here goes:
To Dstocks for hosting the event, couldn't have had it if we didn't have anywhere to go (duh)
To Aza for the meats... was gooooood meat.
to Mike, AJ, Simon, and Dwayne's son for providing the entertainment
and to everyone who showed up, you all made the event a worthwhile trip.

as for the DIY section, twas great fun. those who know me (like lawsochap) will know that there's nothing i love more than getting in and actually pulling things apart and fixing them, so thanks to Stef and Kate for providing the car that had the most work done to it, was great fun. and i hope your mirror is still working :P

all in all, a great time was had, and had there been more room i WOULD have done that 4wheel burnout, but i didn't like the prospect of losing it and going into an FTO, especially since the ones in my path were all the expensive looking ones.

Again, thanks to everyone for showing up, can't wait for next years BBQ. will hopefully have more done to the beast by then and be able to help out a bit more.

    ONE WORD.......... EPIC WIN

Thanks to everyone for making the trip so well worth it. Had an absolute ball.

    A few special thank you's

To dwayne and family, for letting us come to your special litte place in the world, truely beautiul. Also on a side note I think your son is going to have an excellent career in carpentry after that amazing destruction of that bike with a hammer. A little scary but none the less very impressive.

To Schumie you funny bastard, Nearly throwing yourself and the stolen esky into the fire......priceless. I am seriously still laughing my ass off.

To aza, thanks for the food mate, was awesome. Forgot to ask you how much I owed you for it? PM me your bank details and ill get it over to you. See ya on the track ;)

To fraz and lawso for "DOING A BURNOUT" oh thats right you didnt :cheeky: Nah just kidding thanks guys for being good sports.

And last but not least, to AJ for picking up and droping me off at the airport and letting me crash at your place. And also making me laugh my ass off. Im still feeling sick from our 5 in the morning binge session 8O

Trip home? Yeah fine, but as we (Me & J) where changing over the wheels, we found a oil leak. Not to sure where its coming from for the time being, somewhere near the gearbox :(.
That and because J had 18s on it, and I got the car w/ stockies, it dropped about a inch n a half... = Car is f**king ridiculously low, its stupid lol. Its like, i have to angle like 100000000% and go 1km/h and ill still touch on any decent bump/driveway.... But besdies that.. great trip home, was lucky though, we left on tuesday morning, we where going to leave on Monday night, there was a 12hour delay on the northbound Motorway. Ouch. Lol.

If its got lowering springs, might be worth chucking stockies back in to give you a little more height.

Coilovers FTW ... I remember the troubles I had with height .. But yeah, get a bigger profile... I had 205/40/17's on mine, and went up to 215/45/17... Gave me heaps more height ..
I just had to add it ......
